From Shantha Chandra:
For the past two years, all the Howard County public elementary schools had had an after school “Girls Run” to encourage young ladies as a part of the “Let's Move” initiative. The girls practice twice a week by running a mile or two. In December, they have to compete in 5k run. Our granddaughter Satya (7 year old) competed in this 5k run and came 7th. We are proud of her.
